Isn't that just perpetuating the 'young many gets lucky myth'. If the argument is that Rawat as minor was subject to abusive attention from an adult the fact that he found enjoyment in the abuse or that he married his abuser changes nothing about the abusive situation.

Of course there is no evidence of any impropriety on the part of Marolyn Rawat - unless someone is willing to suggest otherwise the Rawat's relationship may have not have been intimate until they were married.

There are many questions about who facilitated Rawat's 'independence' from the legal guardianship of his mother not least - how did he get a visa to travel to the US from UK in 1971 without his mothers permission ?

and how did he get a marriage licence at just aged 16 if his mother did not agree to the marriage ?
