When I first heard of Maharaji I was looking for God.
But I had a very specific definition.
And God, in my definition, is eternal, infinite, omnipresent etc.
The same attributes as a scientist would give to energy.
And acccording to most scriptures God has several "physical" attributes that can be directly experienced.
God is light, God is a unspeakable word or name, God is sound and God is taste.
Which again coincides with the attributes of energy, energy is light, light is a vibration and vibration is sound.
So when I heard that Maharaji was revealing light, word, sounds and nectar I was immediately interested.
As it turns out practicing Knowledge has satisfied my need to experience God.
So who does that make Maharaji?
On the spiritual level it makes him my personal saviour.
Does it make him your saviour, of course not.
Is he the messiah?
That is up to Jews to decide, it's their story.
Obviously Christians believe Jesus was the Messiah, Jews do not.
But now Christians are waiting for the second coming of their Messiah, Jews are still waiting and the Muslims are waiting for their second coming.
I'm not waiting.
I imagine that Maharaji soon discovered that providing illustrative quotes to the masses is counter productive.
It might be OK in India but not in the cynical west.
