Dear POV

Yes, EPO is a site constructed to present the worst possible view of M and it is in this respect a mirror image of the EV sites (TPRF, ELK etc) which are constructed to present the best possible view of M.

I think you do have a hard time with EPO and if you don't maybe you should. You are an intelligent person and you 'must' recognise the legitimacy of at least some of the main complaints about M. Yes, it all revolves around M and I'm afraid there is no getting away from it. I am not referring here to his private life but to his very public life. You cannot brush off M's claims to divinity or the debacle of the ashrams or indeed the case with Jagdeo as somehow nothing to do with him. Like I said before EPO is a testament to the fact that even the Perfect Master cannot escape the consequences of his actions.

I think it is good that premies like you challenge the material on EPO and ask searching questions of ex premies. I don't think anybody has any problem with that here. The problem lies with the fact that in defense of M you go too far and try to take him completely out of the picture of 'any' blame.

If M was 'not' God/divine/Lord of the Universe why did he fail to knock this nonsense out of premies?

Why, because M could not do what Krishnamurti had the integrity to do when he declared to his followers 'in writing' that he was not the Messiah. Now, I call that 'clarity'.

In contrast, what have the premies been getting lately? 'Expressions'. Expressions of 'gratitude'. Not surprisingly people who are sooo grateful are of course a little 'blinkered'. They have to be. It just goes with the territory. Like the man said : " The influence of a man and his work has never yet grown great without his blind pupils."

The problem is of course allowing oneself to be critical of M can be a slippery slope. But defending the indefensable is not the answer either.

 All the best
