Ron Geaves has always been a mystery to me. He was the first person I ever heard do a double Bhole. Yes a prestigious double bhole! I remember clearly, it was in  The Leeds Friends Meeting House, and Jon Cainer and I sniggering in awe in the back row, referred to him reverentially thereafter as a "double bhole man". Ah heady days! (not) But...

I see he introduced Maha in (fanfare) "OXFORD UNIVERSITY" the other day.(Actually in some public access gaff on down time that happens to be in that town, famous for making cars and where I have spent some time) And Ron says what imo is a very strange thing for an academic. He says:

"And I must confess that, even in my career, it (K) has helped me develop a world view that underpins my thinking and writing."

He has a world view that underpins his thinking??? Hmmm.

Aren't academics required to develop thinking to underpin their world views?

This is surely a very telling confession; a bit cart before the horse? But no surprise really, coming from a double bhole man.

Life is a little shaky for me at the moment (nothing serious) Writing caustically (sp?)here is so consoling. I might do more.

Love

Bryn
