Mr. "Tao of Joyfulness" has given a pretty full biography in his email and I'm wondering if a Brit could identify him for me.

Here is a guy who "took Maharaji's Knowledge" in 1975 after meditating for 2 years in a Japanese Zen monastery and who has a B. Sc. Physics and Maths.

He recognised the "cult" trappings wrapped around the Knowledge and simply declined them. He kept his job, his girlfriend, his surfing (now that is an unusual Brit indeed) and tennis. He saw a lot of those social climber premies elbowing their way to get close to the "Boss" but simply put the time and effort into meditation and what meditations: "Such power! Such exquisite power and beauty like a spring oozing water on the hillside, gathering pace to form a stream, a current, a river. All within himself."
.
He wasn't even bamboozled by listening to years of Mike Finch's satsang in Mike Finch's house in Brighton.

Even better than an identification would be an introduction. He is definitely the Guru for me.
