This morning Forum 8 was moved to a new and faster server and by and large the move happened smoothly. Most of you will not have not noticed anything whilst the move was happening. Hopefully you will notice an increase in speed, not that Forum 8 was slow anyway. 

However, judging from comments made in threads below, it seems that one or two posts were lost at the time the transfer was happening.  Apologies about that, it is just one of those things.  Unfortunately there is no way of recovering those posts.

By the way this coming May 3rd will be the 1st birthday party of Forum 8. In that time we have had nearly 20,000 posts with monthly hits in the hundreds of thousands.  The server stats also show that we are regularly getting a vast number of readers from most countries on the planet.
