Joe,
I knew that you weren't putting yogurt "on" a sandwich..... just bustin yer chops! Heck, it would be messy, if nothing else.
One of my favorite sandwiches is the Peanut Butter, Honey and Sprouts sandwich. That is like a dessert to me. Always did love that. Additionally, I occasionally eat a vegetarian meal, just because it strikes my fancy. We have a couple of really good vegan restaurants here and I do like the items they serve quite a bit.
I guess the meals that I don't particularly care for are the ones that consist of alot of beans. Lentils, in particular. They are just so bland..... and I love "plain" tofu, so that tells you how my mouth relates to lentils! I never found a recipe that would turn them into anything other than a bland pile. Beans ain't my favorite animals.......
So, no, I'm not picking on ANYONE that happens to love vegan foods. I just dislike the "spiritual" connotations that seem to follow it everywhere. Like any food is "spiritually correct." Sheesh! So I kinda get on folks who continue the eastern mysticism aspect of it all, but someone that is just doing it because they happen to like it or it fulfills a specific health need/requirement, that's entirely different. Some vegan food really rocks, imho!
