I may have to eat my shirt if I can't get Rudy and Blue to shape up. The little peckerheads. Rudy has resorted to going down on his knees to avoid walking in the halter. He gets up right away, but he thinks that's a great tactic.
Blue walks nicely in the halter with just light touches of the buggywhip. Rudy likes it hard and fast I guess so I give it to him. That's when he usually drops to his knees.
Today I had them all rigged up with the go stick attached to each collar and the yoke bows upside down and around their necks. Of course I had them short chained so they couldn't go anywhere.
I have their yoke in their beddie-bye area in the little barn so they can sniff it all night. I had to make separate bedding areas for them as they are getting into adolescence and we wouldn't want any bad habits to form due to proximity. After all this is Grays Harbor County, not Portsmouth Abbey...
