For years I have wanted to learn Leonard Cohen's great song Sisters of Mercy.

I finally got around to it the other day and discovered the second verse - although he is talking about a Catholic Order - to be the perfect cause and effect explanation of a cult:

Yes you who must leave everything that you cannot control. 
It begins with your family, but soon it comes around to your soul. 
Well I've been where you're hanging, I think I can see how you're pinned: 
When you're not feeling holy, your loneliness says that you've sinned.

It should be the premie emblem.
