It's not black and white thinking to say a pedophile avatar is all bad.  Just like it's not black and white thinking to say all murders are bad.

He hasn't been through our experience, and he's under different pressures. If we give him time he'll probably come to the right conclusion, and his argument will be all the stronger for it. You can't bludgeon people into the truth.

Well Andries must think so because of his Baba expeience, why else would he bother to post here?  And if he's posting here as a researcher, then that's a different story and I object very strongly, because that's not how he presented himself at the get go.

But, Nev, you've got the floor now, friend...you try explaining all of this to Andries.  I have been doing it for longer than I care to remember and it's tiring and far too time consuming, let me tell you. Plus, the word "cult" is still censored on Wikipedia and no matter how much Andries may be persuaded to any point of view, those articles still are controlled by premies and, by the glorious grace of NPOV writing, those articles remain inaccurate at best, and mostly lies at worse.  Btw, Andries endorses censoring the word cult.  So, maybe you can teach him how it's not a bad thing to call a destructive cult a destructive cult.  Same for it's leader.  Good luck.
