Let's not forget that around the same time as the awful poetry came the awful singing and the awful artwork.

I remember cringing when Prem stepped off the stage to a keyboard and ~~sang~~ droned "swing me, swing me, swing me... swing me, swing me, swing me... in your beautiful swing" (five or six times over) before a sharp sudden outburst of a very loud nasally sound in an eastern quarter-step note scale.

The audience sits in stunned, riveted silence, not knowing what to make of it beyond the surreal other-worldliness of the Lord singing in His creation.

"I guess I'm supposed to like this," I thought.
