But this is like a fable tale of some king that no one dares criticise and thus grows into an ever more overbearing narcissist. We all start life thinking we are the centre of the universe and only through our interaction with others do we learn otherwise.
If the story of his childhood is to be believed, I guess he had that as a child, but later in the west probably not much pushback. But I understand that when necessary he did know how to manage in social situations where he was just an everyman.
