Re: POV, remember when Maharaji dressed as Krishna? -- #9 | Top of thread | Forum |

Sorry folks, getting dressed up in baggy pants, flowers and a crown ain't a big deal.
Maharaji's father did it, many gurus do it. It's largely symbolic like halloween and Father Christmas. Don't forget, getting dressed up as Krishna is not like dressing up as Jesus. Krishna lived a long life and died in a hunting accident. He was not just a charioteer, he was also a little chubby blue skinned boy mesmerizing all his topless female devotees. He was a real party boy. Indian grooms still get dressed up, drapped in flowers, crown and all, and ride a horse to their wedding. Preceeded by a brass band or something. Have a look at the photo of Maharaji and his brother at their Indian weddings. No, he's not a madman. But you are obviously a person who has no knowledge of Indian culture, history or religion. POV PS Does getting dressed up as Father Christmas mean you are telling people you really are Father Christmas? |
