Posted by Gregg  I wasn't around long enough to see the cruelty, but I'm wondering about the longtime hypocrisy of the movement, magnified greatly recently. This has probably been discussed here, but I've missed the last 15 years of the Forum. How does this Motivational Speaker thing work, anyway, especially in the minds of premies, who are often pretty smart people (whose potential, yes, was too often squandered by spending all the time it took to be a Real Cult Member)? How do these people sell him as a simple man spreading Words of Peace and then journey to the distant Antipodes to kiss their master's feet in secret? Isn't devotion still at the heart of their journey? (If you can call getting stuck in a cult "a journey." Asking for a friend.
