I wonder why they don't give the date of this 'address'. May be I missed it? The press release is dated July 29, (Friday just gone) which gives the impression that it took place on that date. But that was the first day of the Lisbon programme, and I don't think even M can be in two places at once! I'm unsure of the exact date, but I know that it was during the week after Wembley (17th July).

I think what M is doing is killing 2 birds with 1 stone. First, he has a programme to which only major donors are invited, a good way to milk a bit more out of his UK cash cow while he's over here.

Second, the programme takes place at one of the most prestigious universities in the UK - a great target to recruit some new premies from the student population.

Quite cunning really, as these students are likely to go on to become wealthy in their future careers, thereby keeping M's cash cow very much alive and well. And being young, and possibly 'searching' as many young people do, they can be more easily influenced.
