And of course anyone of any importance or interest to members of the University is invited to speak by the Oxford Union. Rawat hired one of the examination rooms whilst members are down. These rooms are available for hire by me, you, or anyone at all. He is pulling his usual dissembling, snake-in-the-grass act by attempting to deceive innocent members of the public into believing he has some standing with, or at least is of some interst to, the University of Oxford. How much lower can his morals sink? Although his frontwoman, Peggy Morgan, is a lecturer (no doctorate or fellowship) in Theology at Mansfield College, this does not qualify as an invitation to speak from the University. Peggy Morgan's comments amount only to her individual opinions. Obviously Mansfield College value her as a member (she has been a lecturer for as long as the College has been a University of Oxford College and probably since before that status was achieved); whether their confidence is misplaced is another matter.
