I guess for many of us, we left the cult so many years ago, that we don't really have any premie friends to worry about.  I know when I left the cult, all but about 2-3 premies pretty much stayed away from me, some with hostility, but most with silence, or polite niceties.

Then I reconnected with people I knew before the cult, and made a new set of friends, and moved on from there.

But with the dawning of EPO and the Forum, I have reconnected with some exes whom I knew as premies, and I have also reconnected with a few premies.  I felt this need to kind of connect all the pieces of my life as it were.

Anyhow, recently I met up with a premie I lived with in the ashram, who I considered a major church lady, and he told me that he was no longer really into it anymore, although he still valued the "internal experience."  I wasn't sure what that meant, but it's clear he has really moved to the sidelines, and is skeptical of both M and the cult.  I never thought I would see that happen, so I guess this goes along with what you have been seeing with some of your friends as well.  In this case, I guess this guy kind of moved from being a career premie, to a regular premie to and "inactive premie."
