There's a section under "digital library" on the site where you can view or download a brochure on "Discovering More" (funny, they have one in British English and one in American English -- man, so much Rawat does is just so fucking strange. Why has it always been like that? There's just this unhinged quality to it.) Anyhow, go to the "answers" section and just check out the tone. It's a full of this lecture-ish style, and of course makes very little sense. It's pretty clear Rawat doesn't get any honest feedback on this kind of stuff, I guess that's why it never works. For example, he says that if you feel happy, you really aren't, but that there is no guarantee knowledge will make you happy or solve any problems that are making you unhappy, and that he can't tell you what the experience is, only that "it is what it is." All of this is in the most condescending tone. No humility whatsoever. It's got this real "shut up and listen to me": quality to it. Then he says that the reason you have to be "prepared" is because you have to "understand thirst" although he never says why this is necessary. All these answers are in the form of proclamations/pronouncements. You must do this, you have to do that, and no explanation is given as to why, it's just that it's coming from Maharaji, as if from God, so it must be right. You must understand thirst, you aren't happy because people always "cover over" things. Huh? Then he says that you have to go through a preparation in order to get knowledge (which is up to least 70 hours of videos (OH MY GOD CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE?), because the ground has to be prepared by a farmer. HELLO? Again, a pronouncement, or more of his usual proof by ridiculous analogy. Typical Rawat, although you would think he at least was taking some advice on how to present things to people so it doesn't appear that he thinks they are idiots. Just read that brochure for yourself. It's pretty amazing. The tone is just bizarre and some of the sentences are just stupid. He actually thinks people would be attracted by that? But it's the authoritarian tone that is really going to turn people off. I am convinced that Prem Rawat is out of touch with reality. I think it's because no one around him would ever disagree with him. See, even if he isn't God, in his own world he is God, and that's why he does such strange things like this. This cult is going down the tubes, if this is the big, new, propagation tool that is finally gonna do it. I feel sorry for premies who are involved with this. What a futile, senseless effort, like so many before it. What's really sad is that some premies are going to work their hearts out trying to promote it. But see, they really can't be at all creative about it, they have to follow the plan, and the plan stinks.
