All of our experiences are "inner."  Our sense experiences are triggered by outer stimuli, but we experience our own mental experience of that stimuli.  I cannot experience another person, only my own view of him.  I touch him, wanting to know him.  I listen to him as he explains to me his own mind.  I love him and want to unite with him, but our gonads never achieve the goal.  But the union we seek is in knowing that which is the same between us, and in all life.  The consciousness is the same.  I see you from a distance and you see me from a distance, but we are one in the simplicity of the living consciousness.  In knowing myself, as that central silent consciousness, I know you.  We are also united by our desire to know.  We all have the same thing to learn, to understand, to discover.  We fight each other only in our ignorance of ourself.  We enjoy ourselves as we learn and love.  It is all here.  It is only for us to learn and to appreciate.  We are complete and need only to feel our completeness.  We are free, but only of those chains from which we want to be free.  We are bound to that which we want to be bound.   I need not go in search of myself, neither with my eyes open nor my eyes shut.  There is no place outside nor no place within me where I find my rest.  I am here and here is my rest.  I need not go anywhere. And the very effort to go somewhere by specified means, whether outward or inward, will only take me away.  There is no formula, there is no path, there is no discipline, there is no technique, there is no Master.  There is only my awareness and the One.  I shall grow old, and I shall die.  I will not struggle as life proceeds on its path, for I myself have no path.
