Yesterday I unwrapped a new bar of Dr Bronner's soaps and read the slogan for the umpteenth time - that's the soap I like to use.   I didn't come across it til I came to Australia so I just assumed it had been made by a Queensland hippy and very nice too.  Until recently that's all I knew () soaps and lip balm.  Very good products. Decades later and there in the chemist I see a Dr Bronner cleaning product - Salsuds, I read the label and it claims it can clean anything!!!!  Anything?, this has to be tested even if it does cost $37.  So far so good - it's like it can clean blood off a stone, I am dead impressed. So there I am reading his message that is so important to him it is on every bar of soap and I figure someone who can make such good products I ought to listen to. When I was a premie I read All - One! and thought it was cute, when I exited I thought he's burdened with religious ideas, but I still like your soap.  Now I am wondering what you all here think.  Are we all one? I went looking for the Dr Bronner story.  Turns out he was a German Jew 3rd generation master soap maker who upset his family with his passionate spiritual views and went charging off to America in the early 1900's. There's a few interesting things in his story that I read but the thing that sticks out for me is that he established a hugely successful business holding to his ideals of good soap, happy customers, happy suppliers, happy employees, everything must be good for the whole planet.  (he did have to escape from the Illinois insane asylum to do it!)
