Julie,

Your future ability to post on this forum depends on you reading, understanding, and acknowledging this post.  When you have read it, please reply that you have done so, and that you will think carefully about what I am saying.

As you have seen, you are beginning to annoy many of the other posters here.  The reason for this is your inability to discuss any testimony of anyone else regarding Prem Rawat.  You repeatedly say that he is a 'perfect gentleman' because that is your experience.  Your first-hand experience is, of course, important, but it isn't sufficient in life.  You must respect, and take into account, the testimonies of other people as they relate their first-hand experiences.

Let me give you an example.  Have you ever done jury duty?  Imagine if you listened to the evidence in a case, and then when discussing the case in the jury room, you simply kept repeating that you weren't there when the offense was committed, so you don't know whether what the witnesses said is true or not.  I'm sure you can see that would be unacceptable, and the other jurors would be right in thinking you are not doing your civic duty.  As a juror you have to consider the evidence of other people and decide, on the balance of probabilities, whether the defendant is guilty or not.  And you have to do this with without any first-hand experience of the offense.

Now in the matter of whether Prem Rawat is a perfect gentleman or not, there is a wealth of first-hand testimonies from other people that says he is not.  People here, having weighed up the evidence, have decided that he is a lying, greedy, cult-leader.  If you wish to continue posting here, then you need to join in the discussions of that evidence.  As you would in a jury room, you need to discuss the testimonies of the witnesses, and decide if they are telling the truth or lying.  Witnesses have said that the Prem Rawat you see is a carefully stage managed image, and you are being deliberately fooled.  The real Prem Rawat is a nasty, selfish, abusive person.  You need to discuss that possibility, and tell us why you think your view is the correct one.

Simply saying that in your experience he is a perfect gentleman is not sufficient.

So, as I said, please reply to this post telling me that you understand the conditions for your future participation here before writing any other posts.  Any posts that you do write that show that you do not understand will be deleted.

I like your analogy to jury duty, John.  I'll try and use that in conversation, if I may, should opportunity arise.  In thinking further on that, please God, don't let any premies on jury duty!  Willful blindness, to that extent, is frightening and dangerous, both to the individual and to society.
