Just remembered Maharaji's voice was mixed into a 1980's record called You Take Some Lentils And You Take Some Rice by The Eurythmics - it was a b-side to an extended remix of one of their proper records - does anyone know the history of his involvement or if they even bothered to get permission. So glad his music career died with that though. The record just has him repeating that phrase over and over again.

Hi arthur,
Actually they play in the back ground a satsng of his where he tells the story about lentils and rice.It was taken off in later runs of the record btw.

I still have the record.

It was a bigbeat house track, and it was absolutely superb, sampled the horn riff, and I bet Rawat didn't get a penny

Is he still making goddawful chill-out muzak?
