I think many here forget that doubt.... is a reaction >b>TO something.

In other words ... first you must have a thought, belief or philosophy... next you either accept it at face value ... (no doubt) or you question that thought, belief or philosophy.

For me, I did accept m & k for a long time without questioning ANYTHING.

However, for me, there came a point when the pieces did not add up any longer. My reaction to what I saw was to question!

I have always thought myself to be a reasonable and thoughtful person. Discernment and evaluation is a normal human endeavor.

Giving up one's own ability to discern is no better than becoming a robot. To do as told, no matter what is asked, to comply, to give up one's own ability to choose, to trade in one's own ability to make decisions.... etc etc... these are all signs of cult like behavior.

On this point... folks like Jonx have also made a decision. That decision is to abandon responsibility for one's own actions. From that perspective... Jonx will find it extremely difficult to tolerate a different perspective as that would be in fact an act of doubt.

For me ... YES, I doubted the teacher/master and his organization ....when the master/teacher acted in a manner that allowed doubt to occur!

Once again... if m was really a teacher.... he would have clarified his own actions that CAUSED the doubt.

Ohh ...and Jonx... in order to prove your theory that you are having a wonderful "experience" and that it has nothing to do with m....(that m is your guide and inspiration only) you would have to leave m in order to actually prove that theory. Most of us have... and we have found life is beautiful and are having a "wonderful" experience of life without m, k or the religious (cult) trappings.

Personally,,,,, I am enjoying having the reins of my life back in my own hands! I have realized knowledge!
