I've found k to be very consistent, and I don't have any faith that I'm aware of.

I think the situation is that it works for a small percentage of people and not for others, and is probably no different from any other spiritual/transcendental route in that regard.

The problem is that it's sold as a universal panacea for everyone.

Which is a classic case of the route being taken as the destination, ie if one person experiences some sublime connection then the route they're on is sublime, and not just their experience.

Premies are especially prone to this because any kind of thinking about their experiences, except for where it reinforces their connection to gm, are a no-no.

Spiritual naivete is so prevalent in that or any faith based way that doesn't include critical thinking as at least a part of its package.
