Tempora, You said, "....They find the idea of God either logical, something they have tangibly experienced or the most sensible explanation around...... Have they all been deluded for centuries? ...." Let's look at each in turn: (1) "They find the idea of God either logical." Where is the logic in blind belief? That's all it is, you know. If you hadn't been preloaded, from your very earliest days, with the concept of a supreme being, you never would have interpreted any so-called spiritual experience that way. Where is the logic in this? (2) "something they have tangibly experienced " Excuse me? "Tangibly?" So they have "touched" god with their fingers? There is nothing "tangible" in any so-called god experience, becasue if there were, I could "independently" "touch" your experience, measure your experience and "experience" your experience, too. (3) "the most sensible explanation around." Uh, no. It is the explanation given by the ignorant for things that they don't understand. God fills the gaps in our knowledge until the gaps are actually filled by knowledge..... real knowledge. (4) "Have they all been deluded for centuries?" Uh, in short, the answer is a resounding "YES!" |
