It's not about believing.

When I first heard about Knowledge, I felt something. The words were simple, and they sounded familiar, like advice my mother might have given, about how life is a gift, and that there was more to it. I just yearned to hear more. It was in the listening that I discovered my thirst for this feeling. It wasn't a belief that was being offered, but a tool, a key. It felt like being hot and then standing out under the rain, feeling your skin get wet. You don't have to understand where the rain comes from to know you are getting wet, and that it feels refreshing.

I enjoy Maharaji's method for turning within, and have practiced the
techniques of Knowledge daily now for thirty years. I wrote this poem in
my journal recently:

Silence, be my fuel contained

Source of joy, serenity

Root of peace, anchor deep

Inside the eyelids under dark

Under the pitch and swell

A quiet glow attracts inner sight

The breath I take for granted

Comes and goes unnoticed

Until the day it must be relinquished

Feel this rocking, swinging beat

That calls the heart to come and rest

It swells, an inner wave, and crests.
