I agree that there's no smoking gun in the deception category.  Nothing like "When they first come in, drop your purse by their feet so that when you stand up you're just a little closer than normal body language allows.  At that point, whisper very, very quietly "Lord" (as per Directive EW-345). 

No, Cynthia was exaggerating and should be banned to Wikipedia for two weeks. 

But, seriously, what gets me bad on this is the Stepford Wife aspect to it all.  You say it sounds like an "admirable level of professionalism", Neville, but I say it sounds a lot weirder than that.  The stilted, minimal script requiring not just three to four hours practice but seminars and conferences, security clearance and what not?  Come on, that's just a bit wacky, don't you think?
