There is nothing normal or professional about this embarassing hoopla. As secret agent says below, these people have alot of experience doing this. For an outsider maybe this is difficult to evaluate but to me there are two things motivating their fanaticism.
1. They are afraid of displeasing a choleric and demanding Rawat.
2. They are so imbued by the feeling of devotion and gratitude to their inspirational speaker that things can never be perfect enough. It's as if he were God or something.
