The election will be November 3, 2020. Not too far away.

A big turnout?

Hard to say with the pandemic. I vote by mail, so it won't be a problem for me. But, if I had to stand in a socially distanced line all day long, I might not be so patriotic.

Also, keep in mind that the popular vote doesn't mean anything in the US. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million, yet due to the Electoral College BS she lost to Trump by small margins in only 3 key critical States.

I'd be delighted and surprised if Joe Biden wins due to the conditions aforementioned. However, I'm getting ready for another 4 years of Donald Trump. It will be hard psychologically to have Trump rule for another 4 years.

Danger looms as he is capable of WW3 rather than give up power. 

the aborigines here have a strong tradition of elders - the elders of the tribe are the leaders.  And on the one hand it is a real and excellent system where an elder is not just older but also has the character to have gained the trust and respect of all the tribe.  And on the other hand there were tribes who had laws like all the young women had to marry an older man first before they could have a love match and you just know something's gone wrong in the leadership process.

I have been saying for a couple of years that The Donald doesn't surprise me anywhere as much as his "devotees" upset me.

suddenly November seems a long time away - hope it goes okay.  America is one of the last places I'd imagine becoming politically unstable, wishing your people well.
