Some years back, someone on the PR forum posted a link to article written by an ex-Christian-cult member about the cult indoctrination that the evangelical far-right Christian sub-sects were doing in the US via a planned home schooling agenda, the church indoctrination, and the essentially segregated isolationist social structure which promoted "we know better than other" mentality. Beliefs more important than compassion for "other". The antithesis of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Etc. It was a fascinating read into a dangerous group with a far more organized approach to indoctrination than our pathetic cult leader ever had, and more organized and dangerous than Scientology by a long shot. Now, here's a new article that names the same groups that one from years back mentioned (different author). Fascinating read, and I think it's true, that the Christian ultra-right is in the driver's seat behind much that Trump is doing, even though he isn't part of that group. He's just being manipulated by them, and they now have enough power in State Legislatures that the US may, indeed, be at risk of becoming a by-constitution "Christian nation". The founders would roll over in their graves if they knew. And the Koch brothers' group (which shares some similar goals) are very close to having persuaded enough State legislatures call for a Constitutional Convention to amend the US constitution, a fact that has received very little press attention, but should. The US is at worse risk than I thought to become a seriously changed country with loss of the separation of church and state, and loss of individual freedoms. (That isn't mentioned in my link below, but can easily be googled.) Here's the article about the ultra-evangelical Christians' orchestrated agenda. Fearsome times. https://www.autostraddle.com/i-was-trained-for-the-culture-wars-in-home-school-awaiting-someone-like-mike-pence-as-a-messiah-367057/

... this is actually happening at home. Canada is preparing to become the first country in the West to criminalize criticism of Islam. In other words, to take on the stifling mantle of shariah. Yeah, that's right. This is your fuckhead prime minister crushing freedom right under your nose. Was it his secret Christmas vacation on the Agha Khan's island? His Muslim parliamentary secretary who once gloated that his election was an MP was a victory for Islam? Or maybe the influence of all the far-left Marxists in academia and the new Muslim foreign affairs minister's department? Whatever the case, this is real:

I's all of our fckhead prime minister. I think it's stupid, and he is too. Don't overreact to anything that drama teacher does. He is a wimp and tries too hard to be popular, much like the McPresident. You let your anger boil over too much when you say that these types promote terror. I agree that we should call a spade a spade and criticize Islam. Slow down brother.

The motion was an anti-hate motion. Read it as a whole, not as edited by fear-mongers. Jihad-watch, once again, is an unreliable news source.

You have never indicated that you have the slightest knowledge in this area. None. What you have demonstrated, instead, is a slavish, brain-washed liberal mindset that's dime-a-dozen in this country. That's how Trudeau got elected. But you clearly don't know anything about this.
As for Jihad Watch, once again you smear because that's what liberals do these days. There isn't a word in that article that's inaccurate or misleading. If you think there is, point it out. Of course you can't. Indeed, you won't even try because you know that you're just blowing smoke.

All we are saying is give Jihad Watch a chance.

With the Quebec massacre I have to be aware that Trump and Jihad Watch really does fuck up peoples heads. It gives them inspiration and encouragement to try to make change on their own. I didn't go to any vigils, or mosques, as I hate religions anyway. I would like to hear some talk in the media about protecting children. Let's make voting, joining the military, driving a car, drinking booze etc. the same age as bringing a child to a place of worship. If people stopped brainwashing kids into religions, they would disappear. Sure, people will still continue to brainwash their kids in private, but at least we will have made the step of deciding that %that is not socially acceptable behavior. Then people can find other reasons to fight, but at least that's one less out there.

So well said. I would only add, the same people that think Obama is a Muslim, also think Trump is a Christian.

You okay with a law the likes of which no non-shariah state has seen yet criminalizing "Islamophobia"?

No, I hate all this stupid PC stuff. I'd like to rip off head scarfs on the Hull buses if I wasn't so damn polite. 13th day off cigarettes, irritable as hell.

But give a little brother. We are all in this together. Sure, I'm a Hippie, but NO, I don't have a new agenda or any new ideas. I don't think what you call the left, promotes or encoureges muslim shit. We all hate religions. Sure, Jim, as you so often say. I am stupid. I'd rather be dumb than hateful.
