I do like living in a Western capitalist democracy, and have always liked it, the alternatives all look awful unless you are very rich.

I read something that said that there is a long lead time between lobbyist and law so that when Trump was in power there wasn't much of what he wanted to do ready to enact.  But what about that storming of Capitol Hill?  He didn't want to resign even when he lost the election.  No alarm bells going off for you there?

okay so back to the main event, what an article.  there it is in black and white, a rationale as to why mixed orientation marriages are required rather than hiding the fact of them and as expected zero attention paid to how the poor straight might be feeling, all from the non-straight persons point of view, what they want.  No, it's a public institution, not for happiness, you have your children and you go outside it to keep yourself happy - it's so dishonest.  It completely sidesteps how the straight is tricked into believing it is a romantic partnership and then left dangling, alone inside it.  

So there it is, the bigger size closet, where you don't have to hide your non-straightness and you can still bag a straight.
