You so much can't call them "trannies" now. Seriously, not only would you be committing professional and perhaps social suicide if you even once dared to say that at work or in public, but you could even be criminally charged and possibly jailed in some places. Scotland, for instance, or Ireland which recently came that close to accepting a law that allowed the police to inspect your phones or computers without warrants and arrest you if you had any content they deemed potentially offensive or hurtful to certain protected groups if you were to send it. The referendum failed but by a close margin and there's no way they won't try again.
