So true John. As someone in the website business and who has, in his own humble opinion, one of the hippest websites in the internet at the moment: this forum is great. For exactly the reasons you state. But also because it is independent!!! And it is really difficult or even impossible to follow a post and response thread on FB once it is more than a few people. You don't know who is talking to whom. I sometimes refer to this forum among colleagues and friends. Amazing that it actually still works technically. So unique in today's slick online world. On a phone it is pretty hard to use though. That is why platforms like FB look the way they do: the current dogma of "Mobile First." Here is another favourite old-fashioned website I love to show to people. We are in good company.
