You have had rigorous scientific training?  How about taking a look at my post below (Nigel and Molly, Maybe Jim Heller)?  The link goes to a study that tries to prove "intention" can alter the results of random occurances.  I'd be interested to know what you think.  I'm trying to convince a colleague it isn't true.
