I can't remember the bite of the cold any more - moved here in 1975 and haven't been back to Europe in Winter.  It's the heat that gets you here.  Finally some cooler weather and it is so enjoyable to put on a cardigan and a nice pair of socks. 

 

We get so pounded on as teenagers but when I look back to where I had got to at 18, before the cult caught me, I'm surprised at how well I was doing.  And though I didn't notice it at the time, how rapidly my situation fell apart once I'd got the Guru Maharaj Ji is the living Messiah bug.  I lost the cottage in the woods with my quarter acre veggie garden, I forgot to go back to college.  Not to worry, here comes the living Closet.

Now I'm making pots and growing food again and this time have got as far as cooking it. 

Mind control involves emotional manipulation.  That means a regular injection of fear.  Whether we are fearing left wing or right wing extremes it is pretty much the same thing we are fearing isn't it?  - despotism.  

Here in Australia it is hard to enact anything without bi-partisan support and the electorate is okay with that.  however scurrilously corrupt it is, democracy is as good as we have.  

I fear the Greens, the multiple petty despotisms that loom like the acres upon acres of windmills that have been built.  

But the one that scares me the most is the man who'd like to wear a dress.  Not happy and boy can he throw a tantrum.
