Hello everyone,

Been a long time since I posted.  My 16 year old son showed me the South Park episode about Scientology.  I really didn't know much about Scientology except about the well know celebrities that are members.  So after watching the show together, we talked about cults and how I was his age when I first received knowledge.  And how these cults are targeting young kids (at least 18 years old by now).  Scientology has to be one of the most bizarres cults out there, at least what I could tell from looking at one of the websites (like our ex-premie.org). I think it was xenu.net. 

I'm sure none of this info is new to many, but it still boggles my mind.  So I typed in "secrets of Scientology" and this interesting site comes up and just reading some of the info from someone involved for 30 years who is now an ex. 

At least my son is aware of cults and what his mom, dad and step-father and uncle went through.  And my older brother who I didn't think would listen to anything negative I had to say about Rawat has realized that he too was brainwashed.  He made a comment to me recently (work is slow in his line of work right now) and he thought about contacting Rawat and asking for some financial help.  Of course, we had a good laugh, but I told him even if he e-mailed TRRF with his financial request, he would be met with silence. 

Still good to see the forum is still up and running.  Hope all is well especially Hilltop, Jim, Joe W, Mike F., Marianne, and  Drek.
