To Mr. Prem Rawat, the Management of Elan Vital, and the Management of The prem Rawat Foundation,

There are many ongoing discussions and disputes regarding the content and meaning of discourses given by Mr. Rawat in the past, particularly in the 1970s and 1980s. It occurs to me that the transcripts of all or most of those discourses are held in your archives. In these days of cheap internet storage, you could settle all these arguments by publishing all his discourses online. As well as enabling all interested persons to view the content and evolution of his discourses, it would be an excellent way to further present Prem Rawat's teachings to a wider public.

Of course, allowance would have to be made for his youth when interpreting some of his earlier discourses, so publication could include explanatory text.

This would also save the Gallery manager a lot of work scanning and publishing transcripts from old Elan Vital publications.

So, how about it? It would certainly settle a lot of arguments about what Mr. Rawat actually said, and I can't think of any reason to suppress his words. Can you?

John Brauns

If they agree to this reasonable request, we could count how many times he denies being God, how many times he says Guru is greater than God, how many times he makes it clear that Guru Maharaj Ji is his father, that Guru Maharaj Ji is God, and that Guru Maharaj Ji is the physical form known as Prem Rawat.

I can't see how they could justify NOT publishing.

John.

But joking apart, why on earth would EV try to withhold the past? Are they not proud of our history?

What do they have to hide if Jossi is right?!

It sounds like a very reasonable request to me, that JHB has put to them, and it would help to sort out the current dispute very well. I see no reason why they wouldn't respond.

If they don't respond, I will take it as an admission that they wish to keep the past a secret. Therefore I'd have to conclude that Jossi is lying.

But let's wait and see. May be they'll surprise us with an answer.
