Hi Ocker, I stopped giving knowledge 2yrs before that. I hardly remember the incident. I had no official capacity, was just an ashram premie and wore ordinary clothes and short hair, but one afternoon, wondering around with Carl Roles, I was asked as I was passing, I've forgotten by whom, (by C. Cameron I think, [he was there,]) to try to appease a load of reporters in a room.
As you must know, knowledge was never just given to reporters, but this article was the first news I had that any reporter expected that. I suspect it was a reporter's misconception, which became a general expectation among them, but I have not heard of, nor recall, any mention of or intention to give reporters knowledge. My brief was simply to try to answer their questions. From 1971 Golden Manor, I never gave "knowledge" again.
We were asked to deal with them, I suspect, because no one knew what to do with them and Charles and I had a reputation for being able to debate and field questions in English. Certainly the writer seems to have had such an expectation, but I heard no mention of them being told they might be receiving knowledge, until your link previously.
Thanks for your photo, it's beautiful, similar in appearance, but more dramatic, I bet there's quite a temperature/humidity/water-table difference.
I hope you are well Ocker and not too bruised by the harsh words of premies. I thought I had your email but can't find it. I 've been meaning to write. I will soon. My condolences over your recent divorce.
