the person on the extreme right at a "birthday party" for "Durga Ji" in 1974 I think. This was the first time I'd ever seen young Rawat and while I wasn't turned off I wasn't impressed. I can't remember if he spoke but he didn't look too comfortable and he certainly didn't work the room or press the flesh. I remember there was an American who gave satsang at the public program in Sydney before Rawat did and he spoke at length about how Rawat's satsang was so simple that people didn't understand it's incredible depth and wisdom and blah blah blah. I've got it on tape somewhere, quite astonishing when you think of it. The Lord of the universe needed someone to explain away his inarticulacy. Cars, four wheels, etc, etc
