A new year's gift you will all be jealous of

This morning, in recognition of help last year, I find that EV have sent a 2007 calendar along with with an invitation to increase the level of my contribution (in view of the massive increase in propogation planned for 2007 which includes an aspiration to reach 250000 people in the UK alone this year).

This 2007 calendar (OK a month late but mustn’t grumble) has a smiling Prem Rawat on the cover ...and inside?  Well January's blushing belle is...'Prem Rawat'  ..February...have you guessed it?  Well he is not shy is he?  Yes another Prem Rawat'... ..March ?  ..yet again! ..in fact a  Rawat photo to adorn every passing month and therefore no less than 13 of them ...and  6 further mini-Rawats dotted all around ......AND  with 13 inspirational quotes to help remind me of  'the connection that we have'

'I can help you when there is darkness.  I can give you the umbrella when there is rain'

'And I say to you:  Choose wisely.  Whatever you choose, choose wisely.  And then whatever you choose- if you choose clarity, I'm here to help you.  If you choose consciousness, I'm here to help you'

and if you are wondering where ‘here’ might be other than Malibu…...

'That beauty has made a house within you - not somewhere else - within you.  This is where I'll be.  This is where we'll both be.  You and I.'

Amazing the effect of choosing ‘clarity’ !  All around the country premies will be receiving this absurd object and  not notice how clearly it shouts   ‘YOU ARE IN A CULT’ or twig that there might just be something decidely odd about an unattractive fifty year old man who could consider a calendar consisting entirely of pictures of himself as any sort of gift for anyone!  Or perhaps on some level they are beginning to notice?  I bet that this one won’t go up at work or where the neighbours might see  it!

Any offers ?

Yes I am jealous so why don't you break out the scanner and show us all what we're missing.

I'm sure though you cannot match the photo from the January 2004 calendar.

I particularly enjoyed the January photo of Rawat's jowls complete with a pus primed pimple and for whatever reason I immediately thought of Rawat's explanation for his inhibited dancing style ie he had to be careful because when he waved his right arm universes were created and when he waved his left arm universes were destroyed and I kept wondering what would happen when he squeezed that pimple.

Now that is just nasty. Are his lips really that blue? Not healthy, if so.

I didn't make any change to the scan except resizing and cropping so I guess they were that blue that day.

Oh well, I'm sure there are any number of devoted premies who will be delighted to volunteer a liver for the lord. Sooner, rather than later, from the look of those lips. Yech.

Like when you're idly checking out youtube and you hear Rawat say, in a surprisingly un-screechy voice, "Knowledge is something very beautiful" while the video shows this on the screen.

BTW I used the term "synchronicity" in satirically

It would be great if you scanned that in and made it available on one of the websites. As you point out, it just screams "CULT 2007" while exploding all of the tprf/elan vital revisionism.

It's the kind of thing to show a journalist should one, against all odds, take enough interest to want to write about the Malibu One.

By the way, have you ever noticed how "gratitude" kind of substitutes for the word "grace".

Indeed ...and also how it is all 'I', 'me' 'I'll be there',  'my help'  etc.  with Rawat.  His poisonous 'message' is simply a method to induce the open hearted to engage in a process, the Keys, that will eventually convert misplaced trust into endless dependence.  He exploits weakness and self-doubt (because being an egomaniac he has none).   We premies .. used to understanding others empathically ..simply never got this at all about Rawat when we were first drawn in.  We were fooled (or at least I know that I was) because we were unable to conceive of a human so utterly alien.  I am completely crap at lying ...bet that is true for lots of other premies and ex-premies.  Therefore I (and perhaps we all) loved Rawat's utter conviction and self-confidence ...and took comfort and confirmation from this.  After all ..surely no-one could speak in that way if they didn't really know something ..his sincerity and passion so apparent?   Wrong !  This was merely the expression of one man's mental illness and we suckers his natural prey.

Anywat I am rambling.  Yes you are right.  Documents such as the diary certainly give the lie to the public face.  For the long-term faithful the cult is just the same as always.  I owe Ocker some scans too.  Just been to busy to get around to it ..but I will.

best

Tim

This priceless artifact should be scanned and available for all to peruse in The Gallery/EPO.

I'm a bit miffed that I didn't get one
