I don't now if this website is new or not, but it's the first time I've seen it.  It's called "Premier-Events.Info" for Europe.

While clicking through some pages I came across this invitation for London premies to hand out for a dvd viewing titled "Water and Humanity for Peace."  This shameless self-promotion by Rawat to use the United Nations and poor people, is just beyond the pale.

It's a rather pompous form of words for when a political or business leader find themselves in the position of being unable to get away with the usual blarney, & have to actually come out with what they intend to do.

So what are Rawat's intentions?

I couldn't be bothered to read it, so I'll never know.  What a relief.

A keynote in literature, music or public speaking is the principal underlying theme of a larger idea — a literary story, an individual musical piece or event. At political or industrial conventions and expositions and at academic conferences, the keynote address or keynote speech is delivered to set the underlying tone and summarize the core message or most important revelation of the event. Some of the more famous keynote speeches in the United States are those at the party conventions during Democratic and Republican presidential campaigns. Keynote speakers at these events have often gained nationwide fame (or notoriety), and have occasionally influenced the course of the election; for example, Pat Buchanan at the 1992 Republican National Convention and Barack Obama at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Similar speeches are given at political conventions and party meetings throughout the world.

Keynote speeches are also given at the graduation and commencement ceremonies of colleges, universities, and major high schools, usually by accomplished academics or celebrities invited by the student body.

I have attended a lot of conferences where there is a keynote speaker. They usually set the tone for others to follow. I can't imagine Rawat sharing the stage with others -- so how they can call one of his boring talks a "keynote address" is beyond me. Just another attempt to make him look important. they obviously have to do this because he is so unimportant to everyone except premies.

As I thought it's another of those names dredged up to try to give an air of authenticity to his airs and graces and hot air.
I get it, like:
(Before I learnt to drive) I used to get my poor driver to warm up the crowd, before I gave my address.

Second Speaker,
The Laurels,
Keynote Villas,
East Keynote on Thames.
