I think your point about the inherent dualism is unsurmountable. If Knowledge is universal, but Rawat is unique in revealing it, it makes him a messiah here to redeem the humans. So the only approach other than admitting it, which would at least be forthright but probably scare everyone away, is to create enough subterfuge in the early stages that people hopefully won't notice it until they have been exposed to enough language distortion and dissemblance to convince themselves that it all somehow makes sense and they are hooked. But he's been trying this for 20 years unsuccessfully, so why should it start working now. It's not like he's getting any sexier.
