I wanted to trigger them without acid
those grace experiences were the only states of mind I experienced that made any sense to me

Checked out a few routes, did a LOT of reading, got rejected on age grounds by Janov's Primal Scream crowd, met someone into k, grilled them for months on their experiences, was pretty certain she was for real, voila
