You write: "When I see Maharaji, get involved in service, somehow life is integrated, healthy and whole."

May I point out to you that whenever any person finds meaning or reason for their actions.. it ultimately leads to a sense of fulfillment and a life that is 'integrated, healthy and whole.'

Your goal may in fact be to support your family, become wealthy, win a football .. game (or match for my English friends) or produce the greatest number of widgets ever produced and consumed! When you have a goal and you work towards achieving it that itself brings about a sense of integration.

My belief has always been to work towards the greater good in life... to practice a life of kindness, joy and good will, even before I met m or received k. This is 'SERVICE' to me.

But then taking this a step further, one must examine that which you dedicate yourself towards achieving your sense of 'service'. When I look at m I see a man that perhaps originally had intentions of sincerely spreading k and therefore helping "the world' find peace. I aligned myself to this effort as it coincided with what my ideals were and still are. However, I had to really evaluate the methods used to accomplish the goal. I found m and the tools HE created.... dlm, elan vital and now the so called foundation as having serious flaws and actually working against the stated goal. For me, and I assume for many here, the inconsistancies and poor judgements made (mildly stated) only reinforced the sense that 'service' to m was in fact contrary to what we were lead to believe.

Jim has posted many thoughts on 'propogation' and the lack therin, that supports the facts that m has no intention on doing any good for the world.

At what point do you, as an individual, awaken out of the slumber of big talk/little action and evaluate for yourself what lead you to m or k?

If, in fact, you arive at the thought that you came to m or k for a life that is 'integrated and whole'.. as you stated, I suggest that you dig just a little deeper. As I said, many people live lives that are integrated and whole. Seeing m without rose colored lenses may in fact change your view of what his purposes are. I have seen too many premies that have lived their lives believing they were seeking an integrated and whole life, yet... their lifestyle proved different. Ashram premies that lived in sqaulor, family premies that didn't feed or clothe their children yet gave all their money to m or traveled around the world to attend various programs (lost jobs) and other premies that took advantage of the cheap labor that premies provided.

"by their fruits you will know him" I suggest you look closely at the premies and tell me honestly if they reflect examples of successful and fulfilled lives. We won't even get into the sexually frustrated or child abusers or drug dealing /users, those living in poverty or those that beg, rob, steal or otherwise take advantage of their fellow human beings.

I have and arrived at the conclusion that what brought me to m (k) diverged from what I saw being practiced and implemented. My goals haven't changed ... the means have.
