However, I have a suspicion that cult leaders are " born" not" made" , or "self- made":

 It's the "nasty, selfish, bullying, absolute -control, sadistic, narcissistic ,manipulative,greedy..........while all the time pretending to be lovey,caring and smiling ", Gene. Those that possess this gene never need lessons, their behaviour is as natural, to them, as defecating.

Many cults also seem to recommend unfettered, guilt free ,sexual expression or,  the other extreme of chastity or very controlled sexuality. Anyhow " sex" has to come into it somewhere !
