I assumed that he stayed up late to watch it because he did get it! The whole thing is a big piss-take on all of the characters focussing on the faulty inner-dialogues that they have in their interactions with each other. Maybe it's just very British humour rather than hetro. On the other hand, it seems to have gotton popular in parts of the States too.Anyway I'm a rabbit and have the same sense of humour as Danny who is definately not hetro. I wonder if he get's it? What humour do you find funny? Next time I'm over we'll have to get out our fave comedies to see who's laughing!
