I think that quality of friendship with premies depends very much on where they were before becoming premies.

If they were naturally free-thinking people, then perhaps less problems.

However, in general, most friendships are probably well-screwed, quite simply because they believe more or less in a belief system which is now based securely on Prem as still secret Lord.

There is a 'golden area' to such friendships, in which a certain bending or acknowledement of difficult areas is always required.

You can usually never be the person who you are - you will be slightly pitied or an outsider from thereon.

What is probably required is to side-step everything to do with cult consciousness and just be yourself.

Be honest, of good conscience, free thinking, caring and non-judgemental.

In the long run, friends are drawn back to you, as they recognise the humanness in you, which is always the quality which is suppressed in cult thinking, yet secretly always desired.
