You may be right; certainly I am suspicious of any site that does not have the name of its authors or people responsible.

On the other hand, I don't think it is 'making a fool of' Shri Hans, as you say - in fact it is quite respectful of him.

This urge to go back to a purer and simpler past, as manifest in a previous satguru, is very strong. I remember in the 1970's in Leicester Mahatma Gurucharnanand took me to a house/temple where they worshipped Swarupanand still.

Mike did Maharaji ever indicate to you whether he considered that he would remain Satguru until he died and then someone would take-over? Did he have a line on this?

No, not to my knowledge - at least, I never heard him talk about this except as a joke - he used to say we were all older than him (which was true then of course), and so we would probably die first.
