Nobody said that making the decision to leave Maharaji is easy or pain-free. However, it's not necessary for it to be totally painful without some sense of happiness, relief, and freedom either.
Nobody said it's easy. But, to stay suck in a mind-numbing cult, following an abusive leader is really not much different than a battered wife chosing to stay with their batterer. (Battering can be verbal and emotional abuse only -- a person doesn't have to be hit in order to be battered.) In the end, all people on the outside of that battered situation, who look on helplessly wishing they could get that wife out of a situation -- no matter how much the battered person disappointed them -- are very happy and relieved that the wife finally leaves.
Some people need to get professional help when they leave Prem Rawat behind. There's no shame in that either.
