The last local programme I went to was in response to an invitation I had received.( about two years ago).

A video was shown ( usual stuff ) and then the most unhoncho-like visiting Irish Honcho spoke to us. He looked seriously depressed and I remember thinking that I had rarely come across anyone so miserable and uninspiring in my life. ( memories of those shiney-eyed enthusiastic premies from the POP days )

I can't remember ANYTHING that was said but to me something didn't

make sense and I dared to ask a question. I remember the Honcho looking at me with enormous suspicion and what ressembled displeasure and then skirting around the question. Unfortunately I was too polite to embarrass him further and another ( very bored) drip ,dripped for me.
